My 5lb teacup Chihuahua loves running around in the grass but his paws became so red and irritated from contact allergies since living in Texas. Not only are these boots so tiny and cute but most importantly they STAY on his feet. I have tried so many other shoes and this one is a winner, I only wish I had found them sooner. Also, for anyone who has a dog with due claws (my dog does, they were never removed and i got him at 5 mths.,) I put a sock on his foot for a layer of protection since I noticed it rubbed when he walked but this did the trick, and he is only wearing the boots for a short period of time.
